The Pragopol 520 tumbling agent is suitable for grinding and rounding sharp edges of the machinery parts made of both ferrous as well as non-ferrous metals. At the tumbling process, it protects the parts treated against corrosion and ensures short-term surface passivation. The agent may be used along with both St-3 as well as St-2/36 tumbling bodies.
It is also convenient for the tumbling process of the parts made o steel, brass and aluminium. Besides, the application by dusting at the vibration ball burnishing process of steel and non-ferrous metals is also possible. The agent enables passivation and preservation of the parts made of ferrous metals, together with self-cleaning and preservation of polishing balls at the same operation.
A tumbling agent suitable for deburring and grinding of zinc machinery parts, featuring a good cleaning ability for both the parts under treatment as well as tumbling bodies and, moreover, temporary anticorrosion protection imparted to the parts after the tumbling process against “white rust”. It should be used in both barrel tumbling and vibration machines.
A tumbling agent convenient for fine grinding, lapping and polishing of aluminium and its alloys. It should be predominantly used for barrel tumbling processes by steel ball-shaped or cylindrical bodies but, besides, it may be possibly employed for vibration machines as well.
A liquid concentrate suitable for combined surface treatment operation – degreasing together with polishing - of the machinery parts made of copper and silver and their alloys in tumbling and vibration machines by stainless steel tumbling bodies. Depending on the shape of the parts to be treated, the process may be allowed even without tumbling bodies in some cases. The current use of Pragopol 809 is for both grinding and deburring of the parts made of stainless steel and copper and their alloys by ceramic tumbling bodies.
A liquid concentrate suitable for both tumbling and polishing operations of copper and silver and their alloys in tumbling and vibration machines by stainless steel tumbling bodies. It is possible in some cases (depends on the shape of the parts to be treated) for the parts to be polished even without auxiliary tumbling bodies. Pragopol 810 may be further used for grinding and deburring of the parts made of austenitic stainless steel, copper and their alloys by ceramic tumbling bodies. Due to a passivating layer created on the surface of the parts at their treatment, the agent brings about enhanced anticorrosion protection in acid environments.
Pragopol 812 is a liquid concentrate suitable for both tumbling and polishing operations of copper and its alloys in tumbling and vibration machines by stainless steel tumbling bodies. It is possible in some cases (depends on the shape of the parts to be treated) for the treated parts to be polished even without auxiliary tumbling bodies. Besides the surface passivation and imparted anticorrosion protection, the agent is able to remove corrosion products from the treated parts. The agent deposits a very thin layer of chemisorpted organic-based corrosion inhibitors.
A liquid concentrate convenient for the passivation against corrosion of the parts made of copper and silver and their alloys, after their tumbling or polishing operations in both vibration and tumbling machines by stainless steel or ceramic tumbling bodies. Besides, the agent provides a lubrication effect which, at a drying, will prevent the machinery parts after their treatment from possible undesirable marring of their highly polished finish.
A polishing and tumbling agent for both barrel polishing and tumbling of small steel machinery parts. The priority use should be given to the polishing of the parts of more complicated shapes which otherwise are very difficult to be polished on discs.
A powder abrasive agent for tumbling of the machinery parts, capable of further breaking into finer grains which, however, retain their sharp-edged character and, therefore, performance at the tumbling process until as much as fine particles are achieved enough to be able to grind or even polish. The tumbling process, hence, continues as the polishing operation in the same barrel. The surfactants and corrosion inhibitors contained provide surface treatment of the parts made of all common metals including stainless steel, aluminium and its alloys and zinc.
Pragopol OB 32 is suitable for deburring, grinding, descalling and derusting from metallic substrates by both vibration and barrel-tumbling and, moreover, for fine grinding prepolishing and polishing of steels including ferritic austenic stainless.
The agent is usually used in combination with ceramic grinding bodies. In case of polishing the combination with china bodies without grinding effect. In some cases Pragopol OB 32 may be used without auxilliary ginding or polishing bodies. Besides greased parts may be treated.
Pragolod 14 is a liquid alkaline agent for combined technological operations degreasing together with surface passivation and is formulated on the basis of both low-foaming surfactants of high biodegradability and corrosion inhibitors. It should be used for tumbling of ferrous metals. Besides, it may be used for passivation of ferrous metals after pickling or other technological operations in water – based agents if an active steel surface is needed to be pasivated. Steel and ceramic bodies may be used at tumbling process.
